The 29 Palms Art Gallery features six local women artists aka 6 Chicks and British photographer/ painter, Alexander de Cadenet. The Hi-Desert Cultural Center hosts the JT Phil's annual Holiday Festival and theatrical "An Actor's Carol" with Tony Award and three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Hal Linden and well-loved veteran film and TV actor, Barry Cutler.The Desert Institute presents the Old Schoolhouse Lecture Series event:December 11 - Homesteading: The Free Land Idea with Lorna Shuman and on January 8 - The Forgotten Gold Rush with Paul Smith. Music lovers still enjoy Pappy and Harriet's honky tonk in Pioneertown (with fabulous food!) featuring an eclectic blend:
